sophie stole my poor heart

*Big breath* I have just fallen in love....deeply and truly in love....with.......this fine lady:

This...is Marc Jacob's Marc by Marc Jacobs Saddlery Sophie Tote. And retailing at $478.00 makes this little baby something that I can only dream about holding. Sigh.

However, if you are lucky enough to afford this gorgeous bag, you can find it at shopbop.com!

As for me....I'm off to dreamworld!

something unnecessary

I don't really need more accessories...but when I stopped by Forever21 the other day, I had to get these. I really wanted this other necklace which was more chunky, but since I don't have anything to match it I didn't get it.

Both the necklaces were...I think $5.80 and the ring was $5.60? I don't have the tags anymore so I'm not sure, but overall I think the prices aren't too bad :)

On a unrelated note, I had this Maltesers bubble tea at Bubble Queen and it was absolutely delicious!! In fact, I'm badly craving it right now.....*drools*

aloe vera + honey hair mask

It's been way too hot lately! So while I was trying to stay cool at home, I decided to do a homemade hair mask. During the summer, many of us forget that not only does the sun harm our skin (sunscreen! sunscreen please!), but also our hair. It becomes dry and coarse without proper care. I had also recently colored my hair, so it's in dire need of healing! So who wouldn't want a mask that can replenish your hair's health and keep it strong?! That's where this aloe vera and honey mask comes to the rescue! Q(^_^Q) ~yay!

Aloe vera is known for keeping your hair strong and healthy, and most importantly, it helps with hair loss. (Even though I'm still young, I worry about hair loss!) Not only will it strengthen your hair, but it will make your hair look shiny and healthy ^^ Who wouldn't want that, right?

As for honey....well, everyone knows honey is just full of goodies. As for this hair mask, honey aids in nourishing the hair, so it will also make your hair look even more healthy ^^

First, you'll need clear aloe gel and honey.

I used about a teaspoon of aloe vera gel (depends on how much and how long your hair is) and I dropped it into my little bowl.

Add about 1 or 2 drops of honey into your bowl. (Here I added too much honey for my liking, but it's also fine.)

Mix the aloe vera gel and honey together. I used an old make up brush to apply this to my hair, you can use your hands or brush if you want. Using the brush, dip it into the mask and apply it along your scalp and down your hair. I mainly focused on my scalp and the ends of my hair.

After applying the mask, you can either leave it down or clip it up. I clipped mine up as I didn't want to get the mask on my shirt. Wait about 10 minutes and you may rinse it off. While you are rinsing, don't forget to massage your scalp ^^ You may use shampoo or conditioner after rinsing. I used a very tiny amount of aloe vera conditioner because if I don't apply conditioner after washing my hair, it gets very frizzy >_<

I don't have very good lighting, but I hope you can see the shine in my hair. I did not blow dry my hair (as I'm too lazy) so this is the result from plain old air drying and some combing. My hair feels much softer and looks much healthier after the mask. It doesn't feel sticky or heavy, but it just feels....goood! I hope you'll enjoy this mask, and that it'll help you as much as it has helped me :)

Well, I think it's finally time for me to stick with blogging! So here's to hoping that I won't stop this too soon!
