It's been a while...but I'm back!

So my goal to stick to blogging didn't turn out as well as I wanted. But here I am again, willing to give it another try! And you may ask why I'm giving blogging another chance, and the answer would be because I've recently been following a friend's new blog on her shopping hauls and it makes me want to do it as well!
I also figured that my memory has gotten really bad lately and I heard keeping a journal helps improve the memory. I hope that goes for blogging too :P

Anyway, I thought I would start off my new post of 2012 with a shopping haul I just did over the weekend! It's not much but it's a start :)

 My first purchase is this amazing smelling body scrub from Lavan. Lavan sells natural body care products, and I have to say everything in there is to die for. Their products are based on all natural ingredients and minerals from the Dead Sea. And best of all? Lavan is against animal testing :) So you can smell pretty, feel good and know that no animals were harmed in the production of your products!

 It was my first time in Lavan with my friend, and I know for sure that both of us will be back for more! The sales girl was very nice- she brought us over to an amazing looking fountain to try their body scrubs on our hands. All I have to say is that I was sold!

 The girl was very generous in giving out samples of their body soap. The only thing I can complain about is that I wish there were some sort of labels on the samples so I would know what I'm using.

Ah! I bought the Vanilla Lavender soft scrub! It smells divine!

 It's more liquidy than other body scrubs I have seen, but I am guessing it is from all the oils in it. All the oil is worth it though! It makes your hands (and body) amazingly soft, but remember! You must moisturize after doing the body scrub, because even though it has a lot of oil in it, I do believe it may dry out your skin.

I was told that a jar would last me around 4-5 months if I were to use it once a week. While it is a body scrub, I don't think I will be using it all over my body. I'm planning to use it more on my hands, elbows and knees.
